easy tahini garlic dressing
Store-bought dressings will almost always contain sugars, oils or flavor enhancers that encourage inflammation. Take the plunge and abandon ready made dressings. A simple sprinkle of olive or avocado oil, of salt or pepper, of balsamic or other vinegar will not only save money but may improve the nutritional value of your salad. Or, try this beauty:
Easy Tahini Garlic Dressing
- 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 2 tbsp red wine vinegar
- ½ tsp garlic paste or minced garlic
- 1 tsp sesame tahini
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- Pinch of salt
- Measuring spoons
- Food processor, Vitamix or blender
- Small glass jar with lid
Throw everything in the food processor, Vitamix or blender and blend until smooth, stopping once to scrape down the sides. Pour into jar.
I used it to marinade the chicken on this plate too! Delicious.
