Well, I went to see my PCP today. I've been having trouble all weekend with spasms and double vision and bladder issues. I called in to my neurologist (who is not very interested in me) and they wouldn't have been able to get me in until March.
So I went to my PCP, and she gave me some muscle relaxers for the spasms. She also said I had nystagmus, my eyes were bouncing around trying to follow her finger. She said that may be why I'm having double vision. She is concerned about my muscles and ordered some blood work to make sure my electrolytes are all in order. (I do take a multivitamin and magnesium, calcium, and vit D)
So, she is referring me to the University of Michigan. She doesn't know if it's ms or not, and she said she will help me with my symptoms in the meantime until they figure out what is going on with me. So hopefully it won't take too long to get in and they can figure this all out.
It seems like nystagmus can be caused by MS, has anyone had it before? I looked up nystagmus, spasticity and trigeminal neuralgia (my 3 biggest symptoms right now) and of course all that comes up is MS. I know it could be something else, but it just seems like its pointing to ms more and more.
