I have most of my MRI's on CD, which has been very helpful in three ways.

    1) My neuro is in one state while I work in another; it's easiest for me to get the MRI on a CD where I work, then take it with me to the neuro.

    2) Once I sustained a concussion and had to get an MRI to check for head injury. If I hadn't had the old MRI on CD for them to look at, the radiologist and ER doc would probably have thought my brain was abnormal because of the concussion instead of the MS.

    3) In addition to MS, I also had a brain tumor, one that grew very slowly so the reports said "no change." But when a different radiologist looked at 15 months' worth of MRI's, he could see the tumor growth. My neurologst sent me to a neurosurgeon and the tumor was successfully removed.
