    Developed scoliosis

I now have scoliosis in my back from a few years of leaning to the left due to weak core and back muscles. I have difficulty (and pain) when sitting too long. I go to PT to strengthen my core and do stetches at home. Does anyone else have this problem or have any suggestions for me?
My husband and I would like to travel some, but long car rides are hard on me.

I have scoliosis too. It can be very painful. I always use an Obus form. I make sure I'm always sitting properly. Not much else you can do.

I went to a chiropractor for about 30 years. It helped for pain.

If you travel, make sure you take frequent breaks to stretch and walk around a little bit. A formed backrest is a necessity I think.

Good Luck to you... and happy trails!
When I can laugh at my experiences, I own them and they don't own me!

      Scoliosis and back braces

Thanks Carole for your help. Have you ever tried any kind of back brace that helps or does the Obus work okay for you?
