I don't have anxiety, but have found mindfulness meditation a useful practice for 15 years. I highly recommend the book a therapist friend recommended to me (when I had cancer):
"Full Catastrophe Living" by Jon Kabat-Zinn (http://www.amazon.com/Full-Catastrop...tt_at_ep_dpt_2).
The CDs are also worth the investment (http://www.mindfulnesscds.com/series1.html).

    Best of luck,

      Thank you

Thank you very much for the comments and suggestions. I made an appointment with a NP in my counselors practice to discuss a long term plan and medications. And I finally admitted to my counselor how bad things really are. I am going to get a handle on this. Thanks.
