Doc, NP or PA?
There is good, bad and ugly in any of them.........
In the summer of '07 I was having terrable sharp pain in my L-ankle. I had seen my FamDoc, who mostly ignored the pain and BRUSE before.
So I went to a local walk-in. There I saw a PA, he was not only nice with good bedside manner, but took me seriously, did the Xray and FOUND the bone spur causing the pain. He sat down showed me the problem and Rx'd an ankle brace. He was GREAT!
A few months later, ankle ortho and it was molded steel AFOs, aka Arizona boots I still wear today (upgraded support last year).
