    Masitinib

I live in central NJ and I just started this trial today.

For the last 2 weeks I have been doing alot of test.. from blood test to EKG, Lung X-Ray, Sonogram, Echocardiagram, and I even had to be evaluated by a neurologist who was not associated with my doctor.

I have to have blood work done every week for 8 weeks and I see the doctor every 4 weeks.

Its a double blind study so I dont even know if I am getting the drug, but I figure if it helps its worth trying.

btw.. I am 52 and am PPMS

Good for you, Katchy. I think that's a brave thing you'toff ing for all of us. Thank you.

One day maybe they'll come up with something that doesn't have such horrible, potential side effects.

      T - death, G - blindness, this thing - irreversible cardiac damage.

Yes, just a relatively slight possibility, I know, but not a nice one. And the chances of getting MS in the first place are pretty low, and I'm not feeling lucky.

Makes the flu-like symptoms of the interferons look positively good.
