Well over the holiday my husband & I went to Door County in Wisconsin. We had hoped for warm weather but it was more like fall. We spent lots of time in Peninsula Sate Park. Love to watch the water. But BIG goal was to climb the tower. It's 75', lots of steps! So first thing Sunday morning with the sun shining we climbed it. I leave my cane behind, stairway is narrow. Take my time, rest at spots on way up. It was really windy that morning 20-25 mph
Got to top, what a great view. Had family that was up there take our picture--hair blowing in the wind. Wish I could share the pictures of Green Bay waters. We let many people pass us on the way up and then down. At the bottom I had my hubbie get the walker, my legs were weak. One lady came over and said congratulations, I shared with her my MS story. It's my annual goal to climb this tower. This year was tuff but feels great to have made the climb!!!
