Ingredients
1-1/2 pounds lean ground beef
2 cups chopped onion
2 cups chopped green peppers
1 to 2 Tablespoons chili powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
14-1/2- to 16-ounce can tomatoes, chopped
3 cups cooked rice
Directions
1 Cook beef, onion, green peppers, and seasonings until meat is no longer pink and vegetables are tender, stirring frequently to crumble meat.
2 Add tomatoes and rice.
3 Spoon into buttered 2-quart casserole.
4 Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes, or until thoroughly heated.
