Ingredients
1-1/2 cups flour
1 cup sugar
3 teaspoons unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
3 Tablespoons butter or margarine
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 Tablespoon vinegar
1 cup cold water
Directions
1 Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2 Grease cupcake tin or line cups with paper liners.
3 Sift dry ingredients together in bowl.
4 Add remaining ingredients; mix well.
5 Pour mixture evenly into 8 cupcake tins.
6 Bake 30 to 40 minutes or until cupcakes spring back when touched lightly.
7 Frost if desired.
