Ingredients
2 Tablespoons butter
1 medium onion, chopped
1 garlic clove, minced
1/2 cup ketchup
1/2 cup orange juice
3 Tablespoons red wine vinegar
3 Tablespoons brown sugar
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 broiler chicken, cut into 8 pieces
salt and pepper to taste
Directions
1 Melt butter in medium saucepan.
2 Add onion; saute' until tender, about 5 minutes.
3 Stir in remaining ingredients except chicken.
4 Bring to a simmer and cook, stirring occasionally, 10 to 15 minutes or until thickened.
5 Prepare medium hot fire in barbecue grill.
6 Lightly oil rack.
7 Sprinkle chicken with salt and pepper.
8 Grill 20 minutes, turning occasionally.
9 Set aside half of sauce.
10 Continue to grill, basting and turning chicken, until cooked through, about 10 minutes longer.
11 Reheat reserved sauce and serve with chicken.
