Ingredients
15-ounce package cornbread mix
3/4 cup chopped walnuts
17-ounce can cream-style corn
1/3 cup milk
1 egg
1/4 cup diced green chiles
1/4 cup sliced green onions
1 cup shredded Monterey jack OR Cheddar cheese
Directions
1 In mixing bowl, combine cornbread mix and walnuts.
2 Add remaining ingredients; mix just until blended.
3 Spread in greased 8-inch square baking pan.
4 Bake at 425 degrees 35 to 45 minutes or until golden.
5 Cool.
6 Cut into 3-inch squares.
BAKES 9 squares
