Ingredients
1/2 cup butter flavor shortening
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 egg
1 Tablespoon milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
11.1 ounce package milk chocolate chips
3/4 cup chopped pecans
Directions
1 Heat oven to 350 degrees.
2 Grease 8-inch square pan.
3 Cream shortening, brown sugar, egg, milk, and vanilla in large bowl at medium speed until well blended.
4 Reduce speed to low; add flour.
5 Stir in 1 cup chocolate chips and 1/2 cup nits.
6 Spread in pan.
7 Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes or until lightly browned.
8 Remove from oven.
9 Sprinkle with remaining 1 cup chocolate chips and 1/2 cup nuts.
10 Let stand 5 minutes, or until chips soften.
11 Spread chips evenly over surface.
12 Sprinkle with remaining 1/4 cup nuts.
13 Cool.
