    Chicken Stew

    Ingredients
    2-1/2 pounds broiler-fryer pieces
    2 medium onions, quartered
    1 cup sliced carrots
    1 cup sliced celery
    3/4 cup water
    2 chicken bouillon cubes
    1/4 teaspoon pepper
    1/4 teaspoon poultry seasoning
    1 bay leaf
    12-ounce jar chicken gravy
    1 cup uncooked egg noodles

    Directions
    1 Place chicken pieces, onions, carrots, celery, water, bouillon, pepper, poultry seasoning, and bay leaf in 3-quart casserole; cover.
    2 Microwave at HIGH 23 to 25 minutes or until chicken is tender, rearranging pieces twice.
    3 Remove chicken and bay leaf from main dish.
    4 Skim excess fat.
    5 Stir in gravy and noodles.
    6 Cover and microwave at HIGH 10 minutes or until noodles are tender.
    7 Bone chicken and cut into bite-size pieces; return to stew.
    8 Cover and microwave at HIGH 4 to 5 minutes.

    MAKES 4 to 5 servings
