Ingredients
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 cup salad oil
1/2 cup honey
3 cups rolled oats
1 cup crisp cereal
1/2 cup wheat germ
1/2 cup flaked coconut
1/2 cup finely chopped almonds
1/4 cup sesame seeds
1/4 cup sunflower seeds
1 cup finely chopped figs
Directions
1 In small saucepan, combine brown sugar, oil, and honey.
2 Over medium heat, bring to boil; simmer about 2 minutes.
3 Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
4 In large mixing bowl, combine oats, cereal, wheat germ, coconut, almonds, sesame seeds, and sunflower seeds; stir with spoon or mixer dough hook.
5 Stir in sugar mixture; blend well.
6 Add figs.
7 Press mixture firmly into an ungreased 9x13-inch baking pan.
8 Bake at 325 for 20 to 25 minutes, until toasty brown.
9 Cool.
10 Cut into narrow bars.
