Make 2 cups
Ingredients
1/2 cup butter or margarine
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup nonfat dry milk powder
2 Tbsp onion powder
2 tsp salt
Ingredients
1-Cut the butter into the flour, along with remaining ingredients,until mixture is very crumbly.
2-Refrigerate or, if desired, keep in freezer along with frozen vegetables with which the mixture is used.
3-To use:--Combine 2 cups of frozen vegetables with 1/2 cup water and bring to a boil.
4-Cover pan and cook vegetables until they are tender but still crisp.
5-Length of time will depend on vegetable.
6-Stir in 3 Tbsp of sauce mix and cook, stirring until sauce thickens.
7-Season to taste with salt.
8-Serve.
**Sauce mix can also be used with fresh vegetables in same proportions.**
