Ingredients
1 Tbsp corn oil
1 cup finely chopped onion
1/2 cup Karo Dark Corn Syrup
1/2 cup catchup
1/4 cup Cider vinegar
1/4 cup prepared mustard
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
Directions
1-In 1-1/2 quart saucepan, heat corn oil over medium heat.
2-Add onion; stirring constantly, cook one minute.
3-Stir in remaining ingredients.
4-Stirring occasionally, bring to boil over medium heat.
5-Reduce heat; stirring occasionally, simmer 20 minutes.
3-Brush on chicken, beef or pork during last 15 to 20 minutes of grilling or broiling.
4-Heat and serve any remaining sauce.
Makes about 2 cups.
Aromatic Herb Sauce
1-Follow basic recipe.
2-Add 2 cloves garlic, minced with onion.
3-Add 1 tsp. dried oregano leaves and 1 tsp. dried basil leaves to Karo Corn Syrup mixture.
Fruity Orange Sauce
1-Follow basic recipe.
2-Omit corn oil and onion.
3-Add 1/4 cup orange juice and 1 Tbsp. grated orange rind to Karo syrup mixture.

2-Add 1 Tbsp. Chili powder with onion
