I don't use it myself for digestive problems, but hopefully someone will come along who does and can tell you how it works for them.
Great info! Thanks
In addition to helping digestion it is also strongly anti-inflammatory. http://nutritiondata.self.com/facts/...nd-herbs/201/2
Although when I use it I generally only use a dash of cayenne, and that is not enough to make a big difference.
I take two Cayenne Pepper caps twice a day - two at lunch and two at dinner. I take it for heart health and blood circulation. Cayenne Pepper lowers bad cholesterol levels.
Google: cayenne pepper benefits
In researching Cayenne, the most interesting thing I read was that Cayenne Pepper disolved in hot water will stop a heart attack.
It's very cheap, and like Tumeric, is a spice used in countries where they have very low incidences of autoimmune disease, like MS.
In my opinion, anyone with MS should take Curcumin, the active ingredient in Tumeric, as it has been shown in research to halt and reverse MS in the mouse model. MS is extremely rare in Southeast Asia where people eat lots of Tumeric.
Curcumin has recently been shown to slow breast cancer growth, prevent colon cancer and kill melanoma cells on contact.
