    MS recovery diet and eggs

So, I have started the MS recovery diet. So far I have gotten the dairy out of my diet, the gluten I am working on. I have a couple of questions,

    1. Why no eggs? Is it super important ?

    2. Can sprouted beans be eaten safely?

Have any of you done this diet and what did you think?

I must say....I am eating a ton of veggies...

    gonna turn green

    1. Eggs are excluded because they're on the list of common food sensitivities. Eliminating them is important, but not as much so as gluten and dairy.

    2. No, sprouted beans are still legumes and are no safer to eat from a sensitivity standpoint than unsprouted beans.

I have had the book for a couple of years now and follow most of the diet. I do eat a limited amount of legumes for protein, because I'm a vegan and that automatically eliminates all animal products.

I can't say if it's helping me or not, because I was well into Secondary Progressive when I started the diet and have continued to get slowly but steadily worse. Would I be going downhill faster without the diet? There's no way to know.

It's pretty similar to what I was already eating/not eating, so I have no problem with continuing it indefinitely.
