    Calcium/Magnesium Aspartate

Tara, In a recent post regarding supplements, you recommended using ionized calcium and magnesium: citrate, lactate, fulvate. I have been taking calcium/magnesium aspartate for osteopenia. Is the aspartate form ionized? Can you recommend it? Is it, in fact, more easily absorbed than citrate?

aspartate is very well absorbed. it is a calcium salt..which means it is ionized (sort of). Its about 20% elemental calcium, which means a 1,000mg capsule = 200mg of elemental calcium. Its a good choice, a little expensive...
