Tara: question on insurance and nutritionists

Do you work with insurance companies? I guess I should check with Anthem Blue Cross (my insurance) but thought I'd touch base with you. If, I were to work with you personally on a nutrition plan does insurance cover this? Would I need a doctor referral if yes? Just thinking ahead.

Bammaw, unfortunately insurance companies rarely reimburse for nutritional services. There are situations: diabetes, heart disease with a Drs prescription; but it is very limited and restrictive. Some clients write my services and supplements out of medical savings accounts and some have gotten reimbursed for consultation fees.
Since we're all not in agreement about diet for MS...you know the insurance co's. will be resistant.
