    I've been there, I quit cigarettes 10 years ago this past spring. Perhaps a prescription for Wellbutrin would help? Same stuff as "quit smoking" meds, plus it will cut the cravings, urges to eat everything in sight, and crankiness that comes with quitting.

    I scanned and printed out gross mouth, esophageal, etc. pictures from medical texts and posted them around my house/on my car visor, etc. Also made a pact to go for a walk after each meal instead of smoking. It was still very difficult, but I'd check out the "changes in the body after quitting smoking" lists and it was very motivating

    Then, tackle another of your health goals AFTER you boot the cigs...they are the WORST thing for ya, and have been shown to make MS progress much more quickly.
