Percutaneous tibial nerve stimulation for neurogenic bladder

Just had cystoscopy and urodynamic test (catheter method; had ultrasound method last year). Dealing with urinary retention and inability to hold urine. Bladder is fine and pelvic floor is fine and strong. I asked the uro-gyn about this method - percutaneoous tibial nerve stimulation - and she said it may depend on where the lesion is. It is at T10-11. This method works by stimulating a sacral nerve (which is below T10-11). I am hoping she decides I should try it as this problem is definitely impacting my quality of life and I'm "only" 67 - but I'm 67 and apart from the myelopathy, I'm very healthy. I've looked at the literature and see efficacy of between 40-90%.

Has anyone else tried it? What was the outcome?

I see that they are now testing transcutaneous tibial nerve stimulation - electrodes placed on the skin, so you can do it at home.
