    My daughter has MS

My daughter was diagnosed 6 years ago at age 20. I am concerned that she is so fatigued. She is a teacher... Spends most weekends in bed. Anyone else have this? I worry about her...

    Hi Caringmom

Oh yes, definitely - fatigue affects the majority of persons with MS.

While I was still working, I would have just enough stamina to work, with no energy left for much else.

There are some medications that can help. Has your daughter talked to the doctor about her fatigue issues?

If interested, here is an informative article from the National MS Society about MS fatigue:

I think that fatigue can be one of the most debilitating symptoms of MS, unfortunately.

Any more questions, just ask and we'll be glad to help if we can.

Wishing you and your daughter the best!

    Take care,
