    Hello

Not sure how to go about this and recently stumbled upon this site. But here it goes.
My name is dan and I'm 26 years old. I was diagnosed with ms when i was 21. I had two flares of optics neuritis at 18 and 19
and the doctors said it was just a strange occurrence. At 21 I ended up in emergency because i lost all feeling in my body and vision in both eyes. I was there for the longest 10 days of my life. I was diagnosed finally during my stay.
After this I became depressed bu got out of it quickly. 10 months later I was back for the vision loss. At that point I went off the deep end. I pushed everyone away from me and went into a very dark place that very few knew about. Cut to last year I had an attack again in my right eye. I had been good for four years and came to terms with everything .

Sadly I didn't seek help and couldn't afford another stint in the hospital. I tried to get to a doctor but I had a wait every where and they said go to emergency but I didn't. I just went to eye doctors today for new contacts finally and found out how much damage i had done to my eye by not seeking help. They want me to get on meds again and go to a new specialist. It's stressful when my insurance covers barely anything.

I'm hoping to learn a lot from everyone here and any helpful hints. Again I'm not the best with this kind of thing and it's just scary but I just know I need to talk with others with this condition. Thanks for reading.

Hi and a hearty welcome! Check out all the sub forums and ask questions or just check out other answers. We are all just a big family with only one uninvited crasher (aka the MonSter).
    Once again Hello!

Hi, and thanks for sharing your story. I am so appreciative of people who open up and tell of their struggles and situations. We may not be able to help out, but your story may help others. Sometimes just knowing that you're not alone in your suffering can make a huge difference.
