I am 59 years old, married 31 years w/out children. Until this year when I was diagnosed (no doubt in the MRI) I was in the work world but am at home now :-(, bound by a walker and physician-limited driving. My older sister and brother have/had MS and I thought I knew everything to be known about this disease - pretty arrogant! So now I'm learning mostly about what my body won't/can't do like it used to.
I grew up in New Hampshire which I think is significant. Also, a Scandinavian connection. I would be willing to participate in sibling research if I can find my way to it (and my sister, the denier would agree).
I try not to think about what this disease has taken from me; I'd rather figure out how I might contribute to the world.
