Repeated message notifications

Hey tech folks
Wondering if something went wrong yesterday. I received the same message notification like 30 times. I thought something looked fishy so I checked and they were all the same notification-just multiplied.
It hasn't happened again and I deleted them from my computer, iphone and ipad.
Just wanted to let you know.
