Hi Rich,
I have a question, I originally applied for SSDI the month after I was diagnosed. I have acute onset MS, I went to bed one night with no symptoms and woke up the next morning numb from the waist down, and I remain that way today. My neuro has diagnosed me with aggressive multiple sclerosis with an EDSS of between a 6 and a 6.5. It has only been a year and a half since my initial onset, so I am not at a point where I can be declared malignant or typed with a more aggressive diagnosis (Not that I want one). However I think that I meet the criteria of malignant multiple sclerosis as far as Social Security is concerned. And might be eligible for SSDI under compassionate allowances. Am I right in my thinking? Or am I way off on this one?
Thank You.
