Trial Insertion is this week. (fee free to pray for me). I am praying that it WILL show me if I wish to proceed with the permanent implant. I will post here at some point to update everyone.
Has ANYONE else ever had this/considered this? I would like it if there could be others willing to share their experience. I wonder if people here have even heard of this option for nerve pain caused by VERTEBRAL issues.Peace to all,
LM

2 DAYS INTO TRIAL
Implant went well (other than some HORRIFIC muscle spasms post implant). Day 2 and it is NOT helping my pain. I was told it may take up to 36 hours to feel results. I am trying to remain strong, but know FULL WELL that if it does not control pain better I will NOT proceed with permanent implant. MORE RESULTS TO FOLLOW (hoping my next post will show it is GREATLY helping.Peace to all,

That would be terrific if the SCS greatly helps your pain!
Wishing you good luck that it is a success.

Gee doesn't THAT sound nice? (not). And why didn't he think of this BEFORE I had that inserted. He started me BACK on Gabapentin. I was on Gab before and it helped some, but not much. Back to the drawing board. Don't know if I should shake my head or go "insane".
For me, the best medication happened to be el avil dosed specifically for pain.
I certainly hope you find an answer.
