Do you mean primary lateral sclerosis? If you google "primary lateral sclerosis forums" and "primary lateral sclerosis chat rooms" and "primary lateral sclerosis support groups" you will get links to groups to check out.

The Mayo Clinic website has information about PLS (http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/pri...erosis/DS01115) and WebMD has a list of resources (http://www.webmd.com/brain/primary-l...clerosis-10673) that might help you find information and support groups.

      Primary Lateral Sclerosis

I have been diagnosed with Primary Lateral Sclerosis and applied for SSDI on January 30th 2019.
Has any one else applied for SSDI and if so did you get approved or turned down for SSDI?

        Hi Donmeister ~

I was not familiar with Primary Lateral Sclerosis before your post.

After googling PLS, I see that it has some similar symptoms to that of PPMS.

I had no problems with being approved for SSDI, with good supporting paperwork from my Primary Care Physician, Neuro, and Psychologist.

If you have more questions about SSDI, you are welcome to ask our volunteer attorney in the Social Security Disabilty Forum:

        https://www.msworld.org/forum/forumd...ity-Disability

        Good luck to you Donmeister.
