Okay so I'm still in Limbo and likely have more questions than answers so far in this process of elimination.
I'm going for an EEG next month which I'm hoping will lead to an MRI.
I'm just wondering about something that happened recently. After months of various levels of symptoms, in particular fatigue, muscle weakness, brain fog and irritability things improved dramatically for about 8 days over the holidays. I literally felt like I was 25 again, full of energy, getting things done that had been on the back burner for ages and even going for hour long walks with my dog.
As of about 10 days ago that all slowly started to change for the worse again. Right now a 20 minute walk twice a day is so difficult to get through. My legs feel weak and heavy and climbing hills or stairs requires real effort and assistance of the rail. Tonight my hips and knees are aching and I had to fight through my walk because my dog needs it to stay healthy.
Is this a relapse? Were the months leading up to those 8 days of bliss a lengthy relapse that lasted more than half a year, symptoms varied from day to day but those 8 days I felt like a new person. I'm trying to figure out how to explain things to my Nurse Practitioner and the neurologist I'll be seeing in February.
I'd also like to know if people suffer from fatigue and are also just feel tired all the time? As in I never feel fully rested after a night's sleep, even with my CPAP, and want/need to sleep late and nap all the time.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
