    Lower leg Myoclonus & Horizant

I am hoping that someone has had experience with myoclonus "leg jumps" and/or Horizant.

I have had nocturnal myoclonus for years (leg jumps when trying to fall asleep)
. I did well on clonazapam, until recently when the leg jumps, started happening anytime of day. Sometimes the leg jumps were so bad that I almost fell over.
My neurologist prescribed Horizant, a long acting gabapentin. Which initially worked well, but I was so dizzy that I had to use a walker. After 6 weeks my dizziness is a bit better, but the myoclonus has worsened. I have been in touch with my neurologists office, but I don't think they understand what I going through.

Anyone have any info and/or experience with myoclonus?

    Thank you so very much!

I had a problem with leg jumps at bedtime. I also had started with mild spasticity. Started on Baclofen and leg jumps pretty much went away.

I'm glad to hear that you are doing well on Baclofen!
