    Dry skin

So for a few weeks my fingers have been bone dry. I noticed when i would have to lick my fingers every single page. My lips are dry too.

'its just winter!' ya, it is. But i could ask my mother if i ever once talked about dry skin. The answer would be never.

So lately ive been using moisturizer on my hands every night and vaseline on my lips several times a day, esp after meals, shower etc
Now my hands are soooo soft but still bone dry!

So i must ask: is this MS?
Ive never once in my life had dry skin. Luckily my lips dont really chap, im just all leathery. And it only seems to be my palms/fingertips and lips. Weird and annoying

Are you on any meds right now? I find that any med that causes me dry mouth totally tends to dry everything like my skin too. It's like it makes me totally dehydrated.

Nope! First med, Tysabri, this coming Monday.
Its just so weird. Its been months now. I would feel like I'm wasting time bringing this up to a neuro.

Weird is that just today when I woke up, my fingertips weren't as dry

Of course I'm not just affiliating everything with MS. Its just so weird. Weird enough to bother you guys on here

I have similar on my hands and feet, and in a moment of desperation I tried some Apricot-kernel oil (I had purchased it some time ago for making cold-batch soap), it worked wonders!!

Takes very little, just rub a few drops into hands, feet (or lips.) It is a bit oily for about 5 minutes, then you are left with beautifully soft, glowing skin. Be careful if you use on the bottoms of your feet, to let it soak in before padding about.
