From the stock market..JCV Test on label?

In this motley fool article it says--and remember biogen has to disclose to the stock market---

that biogen believes the presence of the JCV is a risk factor for developing PML and is trying to get this on the label & the JCV test commercially available.

Sounds like that's their plan, so those like me who haven't had the JCV test will get it because it is on the label.

Yea I haven't had the test either, I got a neuro appt. early Dec. so I will ask him about it when I go

It is not a test for the JC Virus, it is a test for the antibodies. It is considered that if you have the antibodies you may have a risk close to the 1 in a 1000 that was discussed at the return of Tysabri to the market. Without the antibodies your risk may be significantly lower.
