    lots of questions for treatment

    Hi everyone,

I was diagnosed in Dec. and my doctor and I decided that it would be best for me to start tysabri in the next few weeks as a front line med. I am gathering as much info as I can. Would anyone be able to direct me to some data that compares all of the MS drugs and their efficacy...copaxone, aubagio, gilenya, etc.? My doctor went over percentages and I wrote some of it down but was hoping to explore it more. Also has there been any cases of people developing PML after stopping tysabri? Thanks so much for any input...

The best information I've ever found is in the three part series "Wellness and Multiple Sclerosis: Why it matters" by Dr. Timothy Vollmer from the RMMSC. It's about 1 1/2 year old, and can be found on YouTube. Dr. Vollmer goes through, in detail, all the various medicines, current and future, and gives his recommendations on which one to choose depending on your MS symptoms. If you are JC-, I'd go with Ty.
