    Ty and developing breast lump

I have been on Ty just under two years, and around February I developed a lump in my breast. I called my gyn and was told to watch it. I have and there has not been any changes. I have begun wondering though, does Ty have anything to do with developing breast cancer? Does anyone have any experiences with this?
I have had a mammogram six months before the lump appeared and it was fine.

I have an appointment with my MS specialist next Thursday and my GYN the following Monday. Just beginning to get more anxious about it.

Can use of Ty allow other things like cancer, develop?

Well, kinda, I forgot to even mention it to my ms specialist. I know. But I did to my gyn she immediately did a unilateral mammogram. She thinks it's fibroucystic. But she advised just having it removed. And made me an appointment with the surgeon on the 21st. So I will see. I did not think to ask her about Ty either. I was in too much shock as the almost urgent nature with which she was handling it all. Which I guess is good. Just weird, almost scarey.

        scared

I would not be too scared. I know many women who have fibrocystic breasts. My mother is one of them and had surgery in her 20's to get several lumps removed. A lot of times, they will not remove them if they are not bothering you or if they are not of significant size, but a lot of women choose to have them removed. I know I would, but that is just me. Just the word tumor scares me, even if they are not cancerous.

I am supposed to start Tysabri soon, but developed a lump on my right breast. I had a mammogram only to find out it was 3 lumps, but the radiologist said all looks fine. Since then, I have developed lumps on my left breast too and they all are painful and make it hurt to wear a bra. They are all on the outer side of my breast. I was supposed to see my gyn on Tuesday, but my sister's MIL passed away at about 430am and I couldn't make the appt. I have another appt with her on sept 5th and I am not too worried. They increase with size closer to my time of month.
