Hi, I was recently taken off Avonex and decided on Tecfidera. The Avonex was causing quite a bit of depression/anxiety therefore I quit. I started Tecfidera a week ago and am not having any side effects (as far as I can tell). I would love to have any input on other peoples experiences with it. So far I feel pretty good....I even overdid a bit yesterday and thought I would pay for it today but I have felt okay. I know it is probably too soon to notice a difference plus it isn't supposed to reduce symptoms, but who knows?

yea, these meds are supposed to slow progression, disability, & relapses.
i was on tec for 19 months & liked it. my biggest s/e was a horrible runny faucet nose for some months in the beginning. i flushed maybe once a month. they were totally managable s/e.
my 1 year mri was stable, nothing new or active.
the reason i'm not on it anymore is because it made my lymphocyte count crazy low.MS dx's 2000
