Is there anywhere to donate unused Tec?

I had to stop taking Tec and still have an unused, unopened bottle in my cabinet. I hate to throw it out, since it's about 5 grand a bottle!! I called the local MS Society chapter and she was pretty abrupt in telling me there is nowhere to donate it. I realize it's kind of a weird thing and how can you trust people...but I'm not a criminal who wants to poison someone.

Anyone have any ideas?

I've heard before that your referring Dr. will take meds back, but don't quote me on that.

A much better way is a "take back" program "National Prescription Drug Take Back. Here is info from the FDA - http://www.fda.gov/ForConsumers/Cons.../ucm101653.htm They give detailed instructions on how this works.

I do know that it is illegal to sell/give meds to others.
