    Wonky bloodwork

As of May I will have been on Kesimpta for one year. I recently started with a new PCP and of course the first thing they do is bloodwork. She requested the usual CBC and CMP panels and for reasons I haven't determined an ANA screen and C-Reactive Protein. Both the ANA and C-Reactive were positive and led to more bloodwork. The good news is I don't have Lupus. The bad news is SMA test was positive and showing a high titer. All of this is pointing to Autoimmune Hepatitis according to my research. I tested negative for hepatitis prior to starting Kesimpta so I'm thinking this is all medication induced. I see a Neurologist next week and a Rheumatologist next month. This will be my 4th DMT failure. I am worried.

    Peace,
    Anna

I found out absolutely nothing. I waited a month for the Rheumatologist appt and all he did was yell at me asking why a GP was running these blood tests, as if I requested them, and then I got a lecture on how a GP is a waste of time. He wasn't concerned about the questionable bloodwork stating my CMP panels were fine and even if they weren't he wouldn't be the doctor to see. I would need a GI to perform a biopsy.

I then waited another month to see a Neurologist at an MS clinic who specializes in Progressive MS. She told me I was out of DMT options and that my current neurologist was doing a great job. Then it just turned weird. Pain, see a pain specialist. Incontinence, see a urologist. Worsening mobility, see a PT.
She also had no answers for the bloodwork results.

We walked out of her office and my husband asked me, "What is it she does? Because it sounds like she wants to pass you off to a dozen different doctors for treatment." He isn't wrong.

So at this point I don't know anything. Frustrating.
