Gilenya may help prevent heart attacks?

That is the heading for a news report that has come out today. I found this report when googling latest news.

Apparently the testing has only been on mice so far, but looks promising.

I am sure more reports and info will come out in the next few days. I did not post a link to remain within msworlds guidelines, but it s not difficult to google and find it.

“Scientists found that Gilenya, a drug recently approved in the US for treating MS, was effective at reversing the symptoms of ventricular hypertrophy in mice.”

The drug didn't do anything good for my heart, but I'll be forwarding this to my cardiologist anyway.
