Has Gilenya effected the way things taste? I can only taste bitterness and am wondering if that is because of the G or the MS hmmm... I've been on it 4 months and this symptom just started.

I think so. Just yesterday my children and I were eating mandarin oranges. It was so sour, or so I thought. I asked my oldest if it was sour (we all were eating from the same one) and he said that it was sweet. My daughter said the same thing. Actually, it was so good for them, that they ate about four of them!
Other than that, I have not noticed any other taste changes.

yes! I have been on G for almost 3 months now and have noticed this change only recently...bitterness is what I experience too, its a weird side effect and not sure why it would happen but, its causing me to eat less...I have lost 5lbs in the past few weeks. Not exactly the weight loss plan I wanted though, almost all foods taste a little off to me now
