    ice pick headaches

Had to create a login to respond. My friend and I with MS use the same term to describe our headaches. They come on out of no where, last for a few minutes then disappear. We have always suspected that it related to MS, but your posting and the following information was very informing.

    Thank you!

Is this the best they can do?
Knitting-needle-in-the-brain headaches?!? Inflamed brain lining? Worse balance? Might go blind?
I know, I know, not as scary as Tysabri, supposedly more effective than the CRABs, and there's nothing else.

In case my posts weren't clear, my neuro's office determined that this was actually a relapse and not a side effect from the Gilenya. I also made a post in the general forum about this and had at least 7-8 other people who are not on gilenya post that they had these too.

On a happy note, I couldn't stand the medicine they put me on so I stopped taking it and it actually seems like the icepick headaches have stopped!! Yay!
