Hi, I've been diagnosed with MS last year after an Optic Neuritis, and started one month ago with Copaxone, after doing all needed corticoids therapies. Vision was getting better and I had no major side effects with Copaxone...
Until this heart arrhythmia attacked me. I'm (or was?) a healthy woman, 36 years, so I guess this unpleasant thing is related to either the corticoids (last dose 20 days ago) or the Copaxone (20mg, every day).
The scariest thing is that I only have this arrhythmia while lying in bed. Yesterday I even woke up with my heart beating strangely, so I switched to the right side and it got better.
The laboratory told me that despite the medicine instructions warning that Copaxone can cause arrhythmia and tachychardia, they have not experienced that with any of their patients (!!), they are just obliged to put it there because of the results during the trial study.
Any thoughts? Should I be worried? Thanks in advance!
