allergic reaction---help!
I have turned out to be allergic to copaxone, and now avonex. If allergic to avonex will i be allergic to all other interferons.

I wonder if you're allergic to something in the preparation of the shot, a preservative or something. I think that because there's otherwise nothing in common between Avonex and Copaxone. I think your alternatives are to
Try the powdered Avonex - you have to mix it before a shot. Some people swear by it and it has a different list of ingredients necessary to keep the interferon.
There are now two pills available you might consider. What does your doctor say? -
reaction to Avonex
I see the doctor tomorrow. Everything has gotten a lot worse so time to go see about it. I have been on steroids for 4 months, finally got off of them and everything just flared right back up. All of the things I am going through could be a flare-up or an allergic reaction. I guess I will know without a doubt by noon tomorrow. Or my doctor will take an educated guess.
