Shortness of breath

I am having trouble breathing. I call it shallow or labor breathing. I cannot get a deep for hours and then I will get one but the labor breathing starts again.

I went to the dr and my lungs are clear and my oxygen level is good.

Has anyone had this problem?
Any thoughts?

If you see a respitory therapist, he or she can give you some breathing exercises to increase lung capacity.

Thank you, I have been having some anxiety and I took 1mg of xanax and my breathing became normal. So I believe it is anxiety related. I will be making a dr. appointment for anxiety tomorrow.
