    Itching and/or burning OTC

    meds that seem to help me:

    For itching my allergist told me to use a OTC lotion:

    Sarna

    it does seem to help.

    For burning I was using a lotion for shingles..seems to help for burning sensations, as well, an ointment;

    Calmoseptine Ointment

    hope this helps someone else, as much as, it does me. Fed

        Sarna helped me!

        I used Sarna for the first time tonight.
        Beware one of the main ingredients is Camphor. If u put it on skin that has been scratched raw, it is going to sting for about 10 mins.....but then the blessed comfort of no itching/stinging comes along.

        Not expensive and I think it's available on Amazon.

            Ask your doctor about Sevella , and for the iching an oatmeal body wash Aveena is great for it and then use an oatmeal hydration lotion
