Massage Therapy for Injection Site Lumps

When massaging in the shower isnt quite enough... Has anyone used massage therapy, from a physical therapy institution or by another professional, in an effort to minimize injection site lumps?

This was suggested to me recently and I'm curious if anyone else has ever done it and what sort of feedback you may have.

    One more thing...

I should also add that this was suggested to me by my MS nurse. She was ready to set me up with a referral until I said I'd like to think about it.
