Botox for leg spasms

so having leg spasms in my leg for 6 months my neurologst is putting botox in the muscle to relax it so I can walk better.
he gave me a small dose in Nov and it helped some but this time its a big dose and i have to stay after comments? Thanks!

i was in a clinical trial for "botox for leg spasms" in 1994 ('95?) at columbia-presbyterian hosp in nyc and i'm pretty sure the outcome was that botox is not effective in large muscle groups. i had v bad spasms and it did not help me at all. but maybe something's changed since then. if ur ins is paying, then it must be fda approved...i'd ask doc.

well had the treatment yesterday and don't feel any different today, the doctor said it can take a few weeks to see results. fingers crossed this helps!
