Young, new to MS, quick thoughts on Copaxone

    Keith, I tip my hat to you for doing all this legwork.

    I'm new to this MS stuff too and have been taking LDN going on 3 months. It cleared my brain fog up and improved my balance. The other physical stuff not so much.

    Copaxone and BG-12 seem to be similar to LDN in what they do. I don't know first hand but the other posters who do give good advise.

    What needs to be considered is the neuro. Some of them can be rather old school and unbending in their opinions making them hard to work with. I hope your niece is not in
    that position. She's too young and early on in her journey with MS to be burning any bridges. It's OK to go shopping for a neuro she can work with. Ditto with her GP.

    I'm happy to read that diet, exercise and supplements are part of her thought process. It's important. So is blood testing for vitamin and mineral levels and adjusting accordingly. Her GP can do that. She shouldn't be afraid of educating her GP here and there. They can't be up on everything.
