Not that I would want to get your hopes down, but they probably shouldn't have told you "weeks" till you experience the "full outcome". I can say that my Dr. said that the sensory problems are usually the ones that take the longest to heal if there is no nerve damage. Sometimes people go on for treatment blind in one eye, or unable to use one of their legs correctly, and they seem to see results sooner than us with the numbness.

Within 2-3 weeks I can say that the majority of my symptoms are gone except for the numb hands. It has been over 4 weeks now for me but my Dr. said it has been resported to take several months for the repair to get you back to "as close as normal" as possible. Between weeks 3-4 I noticed a "SLIGHT" improvement with my hands which I hope continues.

One thing it does do pretty instantaneously after your treatment is halt the attack. Now it is just up to your body to repair itself.
